The Many Uses Of Coconut Oil!

Coconut Oil is the next biggest thing. Have you wondered whether it’s just a fad or is there really something to it?

Well I’m a bit of a scientist (in my own mind), and I like to find out things myself!

I read like crazy and it all seemed pretty amazing:

So of course I decided to try it for myself (and my family got stuck with it too).

I initally started with using it for cooking and found that you really didn’t need much of it compared to other oils. The pans coated so much better and it’s non-stick quality was far superior from other oils.

The only slight downside was that there was a slight coconut flavour in some dishes. It did depend on what you were cooking though. I found the scrambled eggs held onto the flavour a bit which was an interesting combination.

Obviously things like curries where coconut milks/creams are used, this obviously isn’t an issue.

Due to the Cocnut Oil I used being Organic Extra Virgin, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, the coconut flavour is maintained. There are Coconut OIls that have reduced flavour but this means they’ve been refined (been through more processing) which obviously changes the oil and therefore it isn’t as beneficial to the body.

I then moved onto using the Oil on my face. Since I started this in Winter, the Oil actually solidifies so it was quite easy to just grab a chunk and warm in on my skin and rub away. Surprisingly it didn’t feel that oily after application. It made my skin feel so soft and supple. The oil managed to hydrate my ageing skin and it now looks better than it did 10 years ago! Check out my pic. I get comments all the time about being bright faced and ready to start the day and glowing! I must admit I am also fuelling my body with amazing nutrients from the inside too though so this also helps!

I then moved from the face onto the body! Again when I lathered up, it wasn’t greasy, you didn’t get that feeling like back in my teenage years when I used to lather that coconut oil for sunbathing (no less) all over my body and slip and slide all day! I had a tiny rash on my elbow last night, I put some Coconut oil on there before bed and first thing this morning, it was gone!

It’s my now go to for any issues skin related.

To obtain the health benefits internally I also add the Coconut Oil into my breakfast shake. They say it helps with weightloss too! Who wouldn’t want to try out the benefits of that! When I add it to my Chocolate Isalean® Shake, it tastes like a Coconut rough – you know those round chocolates OMG ……..YUM! IT helps you to stay fuller for longer too! The benefits are endless!

The above websites go through many more advantages of the coconut oil and go in depth as to why it’s so good, so feel free to have a read but I can personally recommend that Coconut Oil is the Bomb!
