Ingredients:
330g grams of nuts (I’ve been using whatever I have in the cupboard – my last batch was almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds and pitpitas) Can use Hazlenuts or macadamias for a bit of a treat! 16 dates (if using dried just add a little more water/oil to mix). 60g (2 scoops) Isalean* Chocolate Shake (Undenatured Whey Protein) 2 Tbs of cocoa 2 Tbs Coconut Oil (Organic unrefined if possible) – melted Coconut to coat
Method:
Whizz the nuts up in a blender (or if you’re lucky enough a Thermomix). Add the powders and mix. Add the dates and whizz again until all blended. Add the melted coconut oil and blend until it all sticks together (I add a little more coconut oil if using dried dates). Add enough water to combine fully. Roll into balls and roll in the coconut (shredded or dessicated). Put in the fridge to chill.
Notes: You can also place these in the freezer for around 2 months.
(One snack is 2 balls)
